It is important to know that deleting your user data is irreversible. Once removed, your data, including profiles, creations, and preferences, cannot be retrieved. Therefore, ensure to backup any content you wish to preserve before initiating the deletion process.

Accessing the PicsArt App

To open the PicsArt app on your Android device, follow these steps:

    • If prompted, enter your login credentials to access your account.

Navigating to Account Settings

Once the PicsArt app is open, you need to navigate to your account settings:

  1. Tap on the Profile icon, typically found at the bottom right corner of the screen.
  2. In your Profile page, look for either a gear icon or three dots, which generally signify Settings.
  3. Tap on this to access your Account Settings.

Deleting Personal Data

Before you proceed with the deletion of your personal data within the PicsArt app on Android, ensure you’ve backed up any data you wish to keep, and you are ready to permanently remove your profile information and uploaded content.

Removing Profile Information

To start the process of removing your profile information:

  1. Open the PicsArt app on your Android device.
  2. Go to your Profile by tapping the icon at the bottom right of the screen.
  3. Select the Settings gear icon, usually found in the upper right-hand corner.
  4. Look for an option related to personal data; this might be titled “Privacy,” “Manage Account,” or something similar.
  5. Choose the option to delete or remove account and follow the prompts to permanently remove your profile information.

Deleting Uploaded Content

For removing the content you’ve uploaded:

  • Navigate to your Profile page as previously described.
  • Access your Gallery where all your uploaded images and projects are displayed.
  • To delete a single item, tap on the content and select the trashcan icon or an option labeled Delete.
  • Confirm the deletion when prompted to ensure the content is permanently removed from your PicsArt account.

Uninstalling the PicsArt App

To remove the PicsArt application from your Android device, follow these straightforward steps:

  1. Locate the AppBegin by finding the PicsArt app icon on your home screen or app drawer.
  2. Long-Press the IconTouch and hold the PicsArt app icon until additional options appear.
  3. Access Uninstallation Option
    • For some devices, you might see an “Uninstall” option directly on the screen once you long-press the app icon.
    • Alternatively, you might have to drag the icon to a section of the screen labeled “Uninstall” or tap on the ‘App info’ icon followed by selecting ‘Uninstall’.
  4. Confirm Uninstallation
    • Tap ‘OK’ or ‘Uninstall’ when prompted to confirm that you want to delete the app.
  5. Complete the UninstallWait a moment for your device to complete the uninstallation process.

Note: Simply uninstalling the app might not erase all associated data. To ensure that your personal data is completely removed:

  • Go to your phone’s Settings > Apps (or Apps & notifications).
  • Locate PicsArt in the list of installed apps and select it.
  • Tap on Storage & Cache.
  • Choose Clear Storage to delete all data associated with PicsArt before uninstalling the app.
